Why I stopped buying makeup.

So I stopped all of my beauty subscriptions and stopped buying makeup altogether. Even after I bought this huge vanity that is almost completely empty.

I realized so many different things this month.

  1. I’m getting married and I have a ton of debt.
  2. I am addicted to buying makeup, not really using it.
  3. I have serious FOMO. (fear of missing out)

This hasn’t been easy for me. My whole paycheck went straight to credit cards. I only had $3.45 to my name. It broke me a bit inside. But, this week I am back to my normal self and I’m going to focus on all of my debt.

I am going to try to log my spending on here. It is going to be tough, like really tough. *I also will have the help of my fiance, but I will be paying 95% of my debt myself.

I started Poshmark in order to help myself pay off my debt, but that went down the tube when I spent $200+ to sell on Poshmark. I recommend that if you are just starting out, sell out of your closet!

I think what I will log is what I spend on groceries and how much debt I have paid every month.

I am doing all of this in hopes of helping someone else and letting them know they are not alone. Also to keep me on track and accountable. I have a habit of 2 months no spending and then next thing I know I spend $500+ at Sephora.

Thank you for taking the time to read this! If you want to check out my closet on Poshmark here is the link. MY CLOSET.
