10 Minute Makeup Look
These days everyone is in a hurry to get where they are going. Who has 30 minutes to do makeup? Not me! I have found a way for my makeup look to take anywhere from 10-15 minutes!
Start with a primer. It’ll allow the foundation, or concealer to blend better on your face. I only use concealer. I apply it to the T-zone and under the eyes. I blend, blend, blend! You don’t want any harsh lines.
After all that blending is done, I always add a translucent powder all over my face. I use the Laura Mercier Translucent Powder. It’ll set the foundation, but it definitely gives your face a flawless covering. Since I do not use foundation all over my face, having the powder on there will help when applying bronzer.
With that being said, next I apply bronzer. I use so many different bronzers, but lately I have been using the Lovecraft Beauty Bronzer Palette. It has 3 different shades to choose from. I use the lightest shade. I use a really fluffy brush to apply it. After apply it with the brush I then go over the edges with my beauty blender I used with the foundation (concealer). It’ll help blend out those harsh lines as well! It isn’t something you need to do. Depending on what brush you use, this may be a step you can skip!
After the bronzer, I always apply blush. I use the Alamar Blush Trio Palette or the Lovecraft Beauty Blush Palette. I use a small fluffy brush and only apply a little bit to my cheeks. Being so pale, if I add so much it doesn’t look right, so this step is quick and easy for me! When doing a full glam look I apply blush to my nose, forehead, and chin as well. I never used blush until maybe 7 months ago so applying blush is still fairly new to me.
My favorite part! Highlighter! I use a different highlighter almost everyday, but while on vacation I found a nice highlighter. In March’s Boxycharm I received the Cover FX face palette. They have a shade in there for Brightening. The best highlighter I have seen in a long time. I was so surprised! Being on vacation I couldn’t bring as much makeup as I wanted so having an all in one palette was pretty nice! Highly recommend it!
Since it is a quick makeup look, I don’t have time to do a big eyeshadow look. I go back into the bronzer palette and apply some bronzer onto my crease. That is all I do for that. I then apply mascara. No fake lashes. I will list some good mascaras I have found over the years!
Last step! Setting spray, and if you want all this to stay, Urban Decay All Nighter Spray. The best setting spray. I use this once a day. Just spritz some after I do my makeup.
Thank you all for reading this blog post! Have a fantastic day!
