NYX – Off Tropic Hasta La Vista Palette – Review
Hello beauty lovers! I had good luck with the first Off Tropics Palette that I should have known how this was going to turn out. Down below is a picture of this palette. It is very colorful.
I went in with shade 1 in my crease. It took a while to blend it. Was kind of patchy and the pigment wasn’t the best. I used a fluffy brush to blend. I then went in with my Luxie 229 Tapered Blending brush with shade 9. To me the shade seemed more orange than pink. It actually looks hot pink on the eyes! Very pigmented. Easier to blend than the first shade. For the all over shade I used shade 3. It looks like mustard on my eyes. Doesn’t flatter me well. Also, I had to use my finger instead of a flat brush. Popped more using my finger.
It was fun and challenging to work with bright colors. I don’t usually wear bright colors. Not my favorite palette, but I’m sure most people will love it! I paid $20 for it and sadly, I wish I didn’t. I don’t feel it will get used often.
I definitely love the first palette Shifting Sand, also $20. It was more of a summer palette. This one is more of a party palette. Again, I don’t know when or if I will ever use it again.
